| How to reach the conference place |
The Barceló Sants Hotel is located directly above Sants Central train station in Barcelona, with a direct line to the airport. Those travelling from abroad can benefit from the fact that El Prat's International Airport is only 20 minutes away on the train and the city center (station "Plaza Cataluña") is only 5 minutes away on the train/bus/metro. The hotel is also very well connected, being close to the local links to the public transport network. The nearest underground station is "Sants-Estacio" (Green Line 3 and Blue Line 5).
The hotel building is right over the station building. If you take a train or the underground, you will end up inside the station. Once there, you have to follow the taxi stand sign (that lead you to "Plaça Joan Peiró" exit); also there are a couple of Hotel Barceló boards and signs inside the station. Next go out of the station building and look for the Hotel Barceló entrance that is outside the station building that you're leaving behind. You're done! Beware that this hotel entrance is not the main entrance and it is closed from midnight to 5am; the main entrance is at the first level and you need to walk a bit more. The first time it's a bit tricky, and unfortunately the picture at Google Maps is not updated. |
